Being tasked orientated helps you focus on your life goals

I'm back again Loves ,

Have you ever had a million and one things to do and don't know the first place to start? Well, I've had one of them days which brought me to the topic of organization. My schedule can be very demanding and hectic, multiplying as we speak! I've learned a few tips that I find helpful in staying focused. Defeating procrastination is the first step. Procrastination is a mindset. If we change the way we think we can defeat it. The second tip would be to learn to prioritize, if that means write yourself a sticky note, a dry erase board, or a pocket calendar, use your resources to your advantage.

Google calendar is a great way for me to manage my schedule. I can schedule reminders, appointments, notes, and even a to-do list. The last tip would be to set small goals to achieve small successes. Just try it, you'll feel so much better when you look over your accomplishments and see you did at least complete the smaller things! Finally if we put these tips in motion we can get a lot accomplished! Let me hear some of your best practices!

My plans are to attend a charity event in New York City for Cancer Research On December 3,2010. Please mark you calendars for December 18,2010, this plus size model is going to be ripping the runway in a fashion show in Wilmington, Delaware. Come check me out! Check the Where's LaReena page for details about the event or hit me up via email reenalarue@gmail.com. All proceeds are going to a wonderful cause which is benefiting the inner city youth in Wilmington, De. Come out and show your support.

Keeping your peace in a chaotic situation

Hello Loves ,
Thanks for joining me today! Has any one every went to work or school and the environment was tense and everyone around you is arguing and acting like a fool? Then you think to yourself: what did I just walk in on? Did I miss something? I was taught at an early age,not to feed negativity. Its like a spark that can become a mass forest fire. So my suggestion to everyone is when chaos comes your way do not feed it with more chaos,  respond from a cool calm place, don't have to be quick to respond . Just watch the flames simmer down and suffocate. Now I want to here your story and comments about situations where you did not feed that fire and how what challenges you faced when trying to remain calm. What worked for you? Holla back at me yawl…..

Words to live by: Let NO one still your peace, live each day as if its your last day!

Please mark you calendars for December 18, 2010 this plus size model is going to be ripping the runway in a fashion show in Wilmington, Delaware. Featured Designer...

Hello Loves,

Thanks for stopping through! Today we'll be revealing our favorite interior designer. So without further ado (drum roll please)...Mrs. Monique Ireland!

Mrs. Ireland is a fabulous Interior Fashion Designer. She began her career with designing her own home with curtains and reupholstering couches to add fabulous decorative colors. She received great feed back from family, friends and co workers, Mrs. Ireland decided to start her own business in interior designs. Through her journey she has taken many courses and seminars concerning interior designs. The courses have helped Mrs. Ireland take her business to another level. She is changing the face of interior design with her elegant style.

I had the grand opportunity in working with Mrs. Ireland on numerous interior projects within my home, the results were spectacular! She is very professional to work with and I respect her craft. One of Mrs. Ireland favorite sayings are, "Everything can work," and that's exactly what she did for my home.

I would recommend everyone to view her website at http://joyoflivingdesigns.com/index.html . These are my personal  pictures with her amazing transformation work. Join me in congratulating and supporting Mrs. Monique Ireland in being my interior designer of the week.

Please check my event schedule for up and coming event's in the tri-state area.

In hind sight they are still our family members and if the truth be told we can not change anyone. I want to here about your funny Thanksgiving stories and lesson learned from this holiday!

I got love on my mind! How bout you?

Some people are in love , long to be in love. Some people have never experienced love. Okay where do u stand? I feel that Love is an action word and the action needs to be shown in the midst of every situation even through good times and bad times. So many are searching for love and to be loved they tend to confuse love with lust. Lust is like a dip in the bath tub, you know the bottom is there, subconsciously. When in love its like an ocean you can't feel the bottom, its as if it's not even there. Lust is constricted or limited, and Love is freedom and limitless! Choose true love over lust because the feeling of lust will leave you in a chilled tub of water with no towel! So as we approach this Thanksgiving holiday with our families and friends, I suggest that we do the three L’s which are Live, Laugh and Love one another and live everyday like its your last.
Who's choosing lust? Burrrr!!!

This is just food for thought : Live life to the fullest tomorrow is not promised to anyone

Tune in tomorrow for our lovely Thanksgiving Blog

The three C's of life: Choices, Chances, and Changes.
You must make a Choice to take a Chance, or your life will never Change.

The Thanksgiving Holiday

Hello Loves,
I’m truly excited about this up and coming holiday season!  Thanksgiving this year will be at my home and I’ve been preparing for the occasion, from the decor of the event down to the succulent Turkey and all the trimmings.   It's a lot of work, what a job!  I have family coming from out of town, I'll have a packed house. This year we'll be starting a new tradition, where every one is going to sign a decorative board and write the things they are most Thankful for. Can't wait to join in with friends and family on this joyous occasion. With all of the planning and preparing, let us all keep this day in perspective it's about being Thankful. So let's forget about our troubles, misfortunes, bad days, and any negativity we have going on, and focus on the things we Do have and the loved ones that are in our lives. Let's be thankful for our very lives and the air we breathe! I challenge each one of you , that if you don't have anything to be thankful for , to close your eyes and be silent, for maybe 1 minute. Now open your eye's, thank God just then for that moment because those moments of silence and reflection are given to us and not promised. Now send your feedback and comments about your holiday season. What are some of your family traditions? What’s on your mind?

This is Just a thought to grow on : Sometimes miracles and breakthroughs come on the most unexpected day.

Holla back!

Our Mishaps Become Our Strengths

Hello Loves ,

Has anyone out there been teased about a there body image or a certain situation? The topic of today is how your mishaps can turn into your biggest strengths. When I was younger I was brutally teased about my weight and my teeth which was such a horrible time in my life . At the time it seemed like my life was going to come an end. As I matured into a woman my face grew into my teeth and my body got very curvy then it felt like I just started really living. As I meditated it finally came to me that those same mishaps have become my biggest strengths. Those exact teasing lead me on the journey which I’m on today. Which is Plus size modeling. So hit me back with your  stories on your mishaps that became your strength. So with that being said I would like to dedicate this blog and song, to all the people who where bullied and lost there life or brutally attack by a bully,  Christina Agulilera your are beautiful!

Be ye prepared!

Hello Loves,

Thank you all for tuning back in to my blog . The topic for today is being prepared to receive your greatness. I found this quote on Facebook and it reads "Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them." No matter how greatness falls in your path receive and move in it. Remember stay true to yourself and true greatness will follow. Always love yourself and the people will follow. Everyone have a blessed day and lets prepare for this up and coming work week.

Tune in tomorrow for some fashion highlights and events…

Featured Designer

Hello Loves,
I'd like to thank you for checking out my blog. Today we'll be revealing our favorite designer. So without further ado (drum roll please).....Ms. Willie Hall!

Ms. Willie is a fabulous Fashion Designer, some think she's just started her career as a Fashion Designer, but her career started in the 7th grade when she cut out her first pot holder and apron, but when she entered High School she wanted to be a nurse, but God had other plans for Miss Wille’s life, after going through a series of classes to determine her career, she ended up in the fashion design department.

As time went on Ms. Hall has had the pleasure of gracing many high fashion runways such as: New York Fashion Week, Project Runway, Issac Mizarhi show, Vera Wang, and LA Fashion Week just to name a few. If you don't know now you do, Willie Hall is one who you want to remember and never forget. I wanted to give you all a peek into her spectacular printed portfolio. She has worked with the following magazines: John Blassingame of Hype Hair magazine, Black Men/Women magazine, and many others.

I had the opportunity to work with Willie and let me be the first to say she stayed so humble gracious about all her accomplishments. Willie's favorite saying, " Designers are not made, they're born." I total agree with this, because you either got it or you don't! She is changing the face of design with her pieces. Her designs are fit for the runway and have the ability to be transformed into everyday wear.

Please join me in congratulating Ms. Wille Hall on her spectacular collections! Let's continue to support one another. I recommend everyone check out Willes collection on Facebook and Myspace. This year Wille is going to turn the fashion industry all the way up with her new designs and jewelry line. Check out the photos attached to this blog for a sample of Willie's work. Don’t forget to drop us a line or two in the comments section. Join me tomorrow on the blog .
Have a wonderful Saturday..

Self -Confidence

Hello everyone I want to thank everyone for reading my blogs. Today's topic is Self Confidence, the Google definition of confidence is the freedom from doubt; belief in yourself and your abilities.

When I think of Self Confidence I think of my journey through womanhood. Self confidence to me is almost like a seed planted in the ground. The seed will lose its natural covering and start growing roots and stems, as it grows and finally it breaks the earth some of these seeds can become huge trees with the right treatment.

Within every person there is self confidence, some instances we have to dig deeper and deeper for it. So today I urge everyone to remember that self confidence comes from within your spirit and once you nurture it flows from within and becomes visible on the outside. Once a person has reached a point where self confidence radiates through their eyes, there is no limit or boundary to where or what this person can do.

Thanks for reading my blog tune in tomorrow for the identity of the designer of the week.

CLASSY not TRASHY

Hello everyone my name is Lareena Larue, and I am a plus size model. The topic for today is being CLASSY not TRASHY. In our curvy profession we run into all types of women and men who come from all walks of life. What I have observed, is sexiness in the industry is a total over kill. I believe being sexy should come naturally, but faking it becomes so obvious. My personal belief is that everything comes from our spirit and soul. This is dedicated to all the models actress athletes’ musicians and creative artist out there. We should dig deep and bring raw talent and emotion that will be used to change the industry. I want all of your comments and feedback on this issue.
